My relationship with Cascade has had such a positive effect on my clients’ financial well-being. At Cascade, I am encouraged and have the freedom to bring the best possible solutions available, whatever they may be, to help clients achieve their goals. The mission statement of Cascade is:

“To provide clear, comprehensive, integrated wealth management advice to help our clients navigate comfortably through an increasingly complex financial marketplace.”

Those are nice words, but what do they really mean? Over the years I have come to specialize in working with small business owners and entrepreneurs. These are smart people. As it turns out, they stay extremely busy doing what they do best: running their businesses!  They know that the markets and their investments will not go up every day. That’s not even the point. What they want is a financial advisor who “gets it.” They do not want a stock broker to sell them the hot tip of the week. They want an advisor who will partner with them in achieving their dreams.  After I learn what your goals are, we will put a plan in place that will help us meet those goals. I work to coordinate the efforts of my clients’ CPAs, attorneys, insurance agents, and other consultants to make sure that we are all on the same page. If needed, I can introduce experts in tax preparation, estate planning, business succession planning, etc. to your situation. Afterwards, I provide follow-up and reviews to ensure that you are comfortable in the progress we are making. My clients, especially business owners, have told me that it is such a relief to know that these issues are being properly attended to. This allows them to focus on their jobs, families, and other meaningful and rewarding areas of life.

Hobbies/Activities:

My wife, Brooke, and I recently became empty nesters. We love our boys, Andrew and Alec, but are finding we enjoy this new phase of our lives.  In our free time we experiment with new recipes, dine out, hunt for new wineries, and spend time with friends. I enjoy almost all sports and spend too much time watching the St. Louis Cardinals. I bike, run a little, and play racquetball at an A level in tournaments around the area. Two years ago some of my so-called friends introduced me to golf. What a frustrating sport. I am active in my church and I serve as an executive member on the board of directors of Champions Committed to Kids. This is a fantastic charity that helps children, and I am proud to be a part of it; please see the link below.

Quote:

“I take great pleasure in working with small business owners. I manage their personal assets, and many times my professional network and I lend support in assisting my clients to grow, improve, and protect their companies. This frees up time for my clients to do what they do best. Run their business!”
